A 77-year-old British cyclist is planning to ride the entire course of this year’s Giro d’Italia in order to raise money for charity.

The eight-time UCI Masters World Champion with 79 British National Titles,Mick Ives, is planning to ride the entire course of this year’s Giro d’Italia in order to raise money for charity.

In 2005 he also rode the entire route of the Tour de France , he was 65 -years-old back then, raising over £20,000 for cancer research.

He’s plan is to raise £60,000 for Barnardos, Rainbow Children’s Hospice , Padraic Sweeney Kidney Research and Zoe’s Baby Hospice.
